Daniele Buetti

For Daniele Buetti what is important is putting things together, making links, mechanisms, transformations and structures. He puts his analysis, his diagnosis into material form, as an installation of tragic-comic metaphors set out with a calculated casualness, lifting the wool from our eyes, influenced as they are more by the media than by immediate lived experience. Boldly walking a tightrope pitched between spectacle, irony, abstraction and beauty, without moralising or trivialising, he also offers us his thoughts on the state of the contemporary image
