When Hiding Becomes Strategy - Liu Bolin
Is man animal?
The chameleon is equipped with a unique skill to change its body color to adapt to the surroundings for self preservation. The rattlesnake, similarly, buries larger part of its body in sand or in earth, not only to protect itself but also to secure a better chance for food. On the list can be found many other animals, such as the geckoes and beetles, that have learned to contend with their surroundings and their enemies in the long life-or-death struggle. Whether they can hide themselves successfully becomes the most vital to their survival.
Man is no animal, for he is deprived of any knowledge of self preservation.
