Hannah Henry began to use photography in her artwork after studying media theory at Harvard. Although her work has a strong formal aesthetic, content is always informed by an awareness of the evolving power of the mediated image. Much of her work involves a process of magnifying low resolution imagery from video footage to web grabs.

The video "Trepidation" (3 min.) is an expanded meditation on the rhythms, structures, and threats in this transitional landscape. It has both been installed alongside the stills and screened as a single monitor presentation.
