What seems to be Stéphane Vigny’s child desire is drawing from a cultural tank both denied and fascinating and, instead of creating new objects, "improving" those which already exist, making them slip into a kind of humorous daydream, exploiting their formal and utility qualities to give them a second life, much more exciting this time. Stéphane Vigny observes and studies meticulously the shapeand function of the object, the materials which constitute it and its position within domestic space, like its attributions to social categories.
