Karla Wozniak

Karla Wozniak's new paintings takes a shot at the endless string of strip malls and billboards that lines nearly every roadside in America. But the painter's caricature of sprawl and development isn't all diatribe — her striking compositions, bold palette, and Spartan skies also betray the observations of a keen diarist with a knack for highlighting the startling elements of the mundane.
